Jake Heffelfinger

As Vice President of Asset Management, Jake Heffelfinger specializes in strategy execution for Casoro’s portfolio of assets throughout the United States sunbelt region. Jakes has deep experience spanning asset management, construction management, acquisitions, and leadership. His well-rounded background gives him focused insight into how all the pieces of the investment and management process fits together.

Prior to joining Casoro Group, Jake was responsible for acquiring value-add multifamily properties in Texas for American Ventures. He also held several leadership positions for Roscoe Properties & One-Eighty Construction, overseeing all asset and construction management activities for a portfolio of 5,000+ multifamily units, providing direction to property management and handling all communication and reporting duties for lenders and institutional equity partners. During this time, he completed capital projects in excess of $100M.

Prior to Roscoe, Jake was a Vice President for Buffington Capital Holdings, overseeing the acquisition and development of a portfolio of land assets and subsequent homebuilding activities. During his time with BCH, Jake standardized the asset management function to track and improve the performance of a $125M portfolio of land assets and underwrote the start-up operations of the homebuilding division, which was projected to deliver 6,000+ homes and $1.5B in revenues.

Jake loves to mentor youth by sharing his knowledge. He is passionate about playing and coaching sports–especially soccer–being active outdoors, and home improvement projects.

Jake earned a finance degree from St. Edward’s University and an MBA with a concentration is real estate finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. While at McCombs, Jake was a Portfolio Manager for the REIT Fund, responsible for analyzing and trading activities for the fund’s investments.
