Goal-Setting Towards A Vision

It’s a brand-new decade and we wanted to share how Casoro Group and its family of companies are contributing to its vision of providing Better Homes for Better Lives. According to futurist and author, Joel A. Barker, a “Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world.” so we’ve asked some of our colleagues to tell us what goals they have set that would help us achieve our vision to provide Better Homes for Better Lives

Yuen Yung, CFP, CMFC, Chief Executive Officer, Casoro Group
I will be teaching our organization the Ikagai Model.  Ikigai (pronounced ee-key-guy) is a Japanese concept that means “a reason for being” and helps one consider what the world needs, what you love, and what you’re good at as part of your career decision making.

Jessica Lee-Wen, Director of Marketing, Casoro Group
I’m looking for give-back opportunities we can participate in that supports our vision. Our internal communications strategy will also help educate our team more on how to provide Better Homes for Better Lives and providing opportunities to share ideas on how each person can contribute to the vision.

Adam Rosenfield, SHRM-CP, HR and Recruiting Specialist, CLEAR Property Management
I am looking for talent that truly cares about making a social impact. I’m also creating processes to improve our team members’ experience from interview and onboarding, to their 25+ year work anniversaries and everything in-between.

David Romero, Marketing Manager, CLEAR Property Management
We offer our residents a variety of tools at every community that gives them convenience. I am looking for new and creative ways to help residents know about these tools and how to use them.

Nathan Bayless, Director of Training
Providing Better Homes for Better Lives begins with ensuring that our teams have the tools and resources necessary to do their jobs. My goal is to improve onboarding and training procedures so it upholds our standards consistently at every CLEAR community and to ensure every team member understands and is excited about our vision.

Christin Markiewicz, Senior Regional Manager, CLEAR Property Management
I’ve started the process to achieve my Certified Property Manager (CPM) certification in 2020 so I can elevate how I manage and provide value to my communities, my colleagues, and our investors.

Celeste Erickson, Community Manager, 5Fifty Apartments
It’s my job to ensure my team is well-trained in their roles and well-versed in Fair Housing laws. My goal goes above and beyond that as I encourage my more seasoned members of the 5Fifty team to mentor those who are new to the industry. This will empower our new team members to continue to offer our prospective and current residents exceptional service.
